Where I've been .....

1.   I was born in Keene, NH July 24, 2007 (my Uncle Ben's B-Day!) at Cheshire Medical Center to Daniel Berthiaume and Kathleen McMahon.

2.   Less than 7 hours after my birth I was transported to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. There I was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot.

3.   August 2nd I was flown by helicopter to Boston Children's Hospital - Boston Massachuesettes, where I was admitted into the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.

4.   August 8, 2007 I had my heart surgery.

5.     September 6th I was transported back to DHMC. Where I was admitted into the Intensive Care Nursery. The plan was I would get better and go home with mommy, daddy and big sister. Plans didn't go quite as expected.

6. October 27, 2007 I was transported back to BCH where I was admitted to the PICU, but now am being moved back to the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at BCH.

7. November 16, 2007 I was transported back again to DHMC. This is the third time we've been here, but I think I'm more comfortable here.  I need to grow bigger, stronger, get a little older and the nurses and mommy & daddy are going to help me do that. I'm probably going to be here for a while.

January 16th I went for my tracheostomy. It was a success! Recovery was rough! All odds were against me, but I'm strong! I never gave up (neither did Mommy and Daddy) and I made it! I'm making great strides everyday and I hope to be home real soon!
